Ao saírem das margens do rio foram direto para Maria Boa. Beberam, comeram, se divertiram. Ao voltar para sua base militar o soldado americano Ryan se encantou com um burro que avistara de longe. De imediato o soldado tirou de sua gandola um chiclete e uma garrafa de coca cola. Quando terminou a guerra Ryan levou Fufuca para a Carolina do Norte que logo com a ajuda da embaixada norte americana ganhou o Green Card e mudou seu nome para Diesel.
